About Ngā Toki Whakarururanga
Ngā Toki Whakarururanga (NTW) is a by Māori, for Māori collective that is committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi me He Whakaputanga o te Rangatiratanga o Nu Tireni and works to advance and protect Māori responsibilities, duties, rights and responsibilities in the trade space. The collective was born out of the Waitangi Tribunal inquiry on the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, building on 40 years of struggle against unjust trade agreements. NTW sets the bar for Te Tiriti o Waitangi consistent trade policy, negotiations and agreements by providing Te Tiriti assessments; educating communities about the impacts of trade agreements and creating opportunities to connect and engage with Māori on these issues.
